The AJW Technical Department is a dynamic part of the Company. We are responsible for ensuring component reliability; providing internal and external support to customers' engineering team in AOG; routine maintenance situations; reviewing inventory levels and configuration; and overseeing aircraft teardown operations.
Our passion is the quality of our components and we continually engage with equipment manufacturers to improve the overall performance of our products.
The Department is made up of these functional teams:
Warranty Team
Manages the maintenance and repair of any component which has failed on wing prematurely. The warranty team will continuously be involved in:
Each warranty claim is different than the last and the range of components is so vast there is something new to learn every day. Team members must come equipped with a keen analytical mind, attention to detail and good negotiation skills.
Technical Services team
Provides:
Daily tasks include review of manufacturers' service bulletins, airworthiness directives and statistical analyses of component removals. Team members must be able to process large amounts of data and possess a passion for engineering.
Inventory team
The team sits in the Technical Department but works closely with:
The aim of the inventory team is to have the right parts in the required location at the right cost and time. The teams' responsibilities and operations interact and overlap to ensure that a strong Technical focus is brought into every AJW operation.
