Umit Caymaz joined AJW Group in 2022 as Managing Director of AJW Türkiye, our regional support hub. He is responsible for growing and developing the business activities of AJW Group’s products and services to meet the operational demands and support solutions within the region and beyond.
Umit began his career in customer support and gained further experience with several roles in technical purchasing and the Used Serviceable Material (USM) market at Onur Airlines and MNG Airlines in Turkey. He moved on to supporting companies including GA Telesis, and took on critical positions in sales management at EurAsia, later becoming a director of strategic sourcing and business development.
Umit graduated from university with a four-year bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and is committed to flying the AJW flag high by creating new opportunities for the company to expand in the aviation industry.
When not focusing on work, Umit enjoys being with his daughter, traveling, spending time with family and friends – and getting in a bit of gym time!

Irem joined the AJW Group in 2023 as Regional Director of AJW Türkiye, the regional support hub based in Istanbul. Through her extensive business network, she aims to make AJW, Turkey’s aviation service provider of choice. By understanding the needs of her customers, she strives to ensure the Group provides the best possible service to meet and exceed customer expectations.
She studied English Language Interpretation and Translation at Istanbul Arel University, and in 2015 began working as an intern at an aviation company in Istanbul. Her goal was to develop and improve her English language skills, but having started work here at the tender age of 19, says she had no idea that her life would navigate toward being an aviator.
Irem’s career advanced in her first role in aviation, and she had the chance to join the Middle East region sales team. While visiting countries in the region, she soon realised her adventure had just begun and followed this position with other roles in the aviation industry. Gaining valuable technical knowledge by spending time in the warehouse at Onur Air, Irem went on to work in purchasing, operations management, and after-market component sales departments and grew her industry knowledge in these areas. She also enjoyed a role in a company that held one of the few global representation licenses for Bombardier, Gulfstream, and Textron, which supported the business jet aftermarket.
When taking time to relax, Irem enjoys spending time with her toy poodle Lola, lifting weights at the gym, participating in techno music events, and riding horses. Her hobbies bring her great joy and fill her with invigorating energy to tackle her role at AJW when back in the office.

Onur joined AJW Türkiye in 2022 as Regional Account Manager at its offices in Istanbul. He is responsible for helping to grow and develop business activities in the region and beyond, seeing to the unique needs of our clients and offering support solutions. Being part of a global company, his ability to speak three languages stands him in good stead whilst delivering service excellence.
Onur has a Bachelor of Engineering Degree from Uludag University where he majored in BE, Electrical and Electronics Engineering. His aviation adventure started at Onur Airlines and continued with other supplier companies and he brings experience gained in various aspects of the aviation industry. Onur uses his engineering analytical thinking ability to enrich the knowledge acquired in roles in sales, purchasing, negotiation, account management, customer development, marketing strategy, and sales team training in the aviation industry.
His ambitious, determined, and self-motivated personality makes him a valued member of the AJW Türkiye team, who strives to transform aviation efficiency every day and with every encounter.
When taking a break from being an aviator, he enjoys playing masterpieces on his electric guitar and lifting weights at the gym. Keeping a healthy work/life balance, Onur always finds time to have a toast with his friends.

Gaining extensive experience in his role as Account and Financial Chief for Onurair Technics between 2005 and 2022, he worked as Revenue Specialist at Tailwind Airlines before joining AJW Group.
When away from the office, Hakan enjoys football, spending time with his family, and reading history and detective novels.

Before joining AJW, Sude worked as a trainee industrial engineer at a software/consulting company and manufacturing plant. She has attained a TMBA certificate in international relations education, which she believes will assist her as she builds relationships within the industry. Whilst developing and growing her knowledge within the aviation sector, Sude is also studying Industrial Engineering at Istinye University.
Sude is an energetic person and enjoys walking in nature, visiting interesting places, and sampling tasty cuisines. She is an avid amateur horse rider and hopes someday to compete professionally.
