Tony Whitty joined AJW in November 2021 as Director of Aircraft and Engine Procurement, responsible for aircraft and engine acquisitions across the Group. Now Senior Vice President Aircraft & Engine Procurement, he brings over 30 years of aircraft remarketing experience with airlines, banks, liquidators, and other aircraft owners.
Tony began his career in aircraft remarketing in 1990 with Fortis Aviation, was one of the founders of Cabot Aviation in 1998, and subsequently worked for Air Partner. He is a committee member and Chairman of The Aviation Club UK and a member of ISTAT.
Tony plays golf at a high level and continues to maintain a low handicap.

Wasim joined AJW Group in January 2019 as a Senior Powerplant Engineer at the company’s headquarters in Slinfold, UK. His expertise and leadership quickly earned him promotions, first to Technical Project Manager, then to Engine Services Manager, and now to Director of Engines.
With extensive experience collaborating with airlines, OEMs, and MROs, Wasim specialises in trading, fleet management, technical support during acquisitions, cost modelling, piece part sales, repairs, deliveries and redeliveries, lease management, contract and technical document reviews, compliance assessments, and shop visit management.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering from the University of South Wales and began his career as an Assistant Mechanic intern at General Electric. He then gained further industry experience as a Powerplant Engineer at TES Aviation Group and Royal Aero GmbH, where he worked across maintenance services, asset management, and OWS. His depth of knowledge and hands-on experience have been instrumental in his success at AJW, where he is highly valued for his technical expertise and strategic insight.
Outside of work, Wasim enjoys watching cricket and spending time with his wife and young family, exploring the natural beauty of West Sussex.
