After graduating from Reading with a degree in Business and Economics, Boris joined AJW as a team member of the Sales Department. He progressed quickly into the role of Divisional Sales Manager and further to the position of Commercial Director. He was appointed Chief Executive of AJW Aviation in 2009. His role as Chief Executive saw the impressive annual double-digit growth of the business and ensured continued flexibility and outstanding service for AJW customers. As Chief Strategy Officer of AJW Group, Boris will now be responsible for helping to define the Group’s Strategy and execute delivery of that Strategy. In 2012 Boris won the UK Institute of Directors Young Director of the Year Award.

Gavin brings to the AJW Group a hybrid of both aviation and production experience stretching back over twenty years. From his initial apprenticeship, through to more recent multinational aircraft operator and production experience, his focus has always been on keeping things simple and belief in people complemented by lean working practices. With a proven track record, Gavin is responsible for all aspects of strategic inventory management including planning, vendor spend, MRO vendor services, freight, warehouse, distribution and information technology services. These philosophies manifest themselves across the AJW Group’s organisational structure, operational philosophies and culture. Gavin is also General Manager of AJW Technique, the Montreal-based state-of-the-art maintenance, repair and overhaul facility.

Caroline Cauvin is Director of Procurement at AJW Aviation. She is responsible for the development of all purchasing activities across the business and ensures the Group-wide purchasing strategy to realise efficiency benefits and financial savings across multiple areas is delivered.


Caroline manages planning and purchasing across: aircraft components, subcomponents, repairs, consumables and third party supplier services.  Her expertise in managing diverse vendor relationships and significant cross-functional procedures and programmes complements AJW’s lean approach and globally renowned contracted services to airlines of all sizes.


She joined AJW from Virgin Atlantic Airways where she was VP of Procurement. Prior to joining Virgin, Caroline worked as Purchasing Manager for Kimberley Clark Europe and Sourcing Manager for Nike across Europe and Asia.

With over 25 years' experience in aviation, Conrad has worked previously for Flightspares and the BBA Group before joining AJW as Commercial & Contracts Manager in 2004. With a change in role to MRO Director in 2007, he became responsible for the total repair management service at AJW, supporting both AJW and direct customer inventories, developing them significantly under his tenure. Following this, Conrad took up position as Sales Development Director whose responsibilities included the management and sale of all major assets held by AJW, with the additional focus of continual development and growth of all aspects of AJW capabilities. In his current role as SVP Strategic Material & Asset Management he manages and develops all existing and future consigment opportunities, to increase the current stock and sales portfolio for our global programmes.

Ian joined AJW from Flybe where he was Director of Engineering & Maintenance responsible for the management of a large team covering engineering, maintenance control, supply chain, and line maintenance. Prior to that he ran a consulting firm working with multiple clients within the aviation industry. Further operational and technical experience came through roles with Wizz Air, Thomsonfly, Britannia Airways, British Airways World Cargo and British Airways Engineering. Ian also has an MBA from Henley Management College and an Aeronautical Engineering BEng degree.


Ian began life at AJW as Key Account Director and was responsible for the development and evolution of business partnerships with key customers, particularly in new markets or service areas. Now, as Vice President Commercial, he is responsible for managing AJW’s dynamic Commercial function, as it strives to further develop the company’s successful contracted business. Ian acts as the focal point for commercial projects, developing new proposals and pricing strategies to better serve AJW’s growing customer base.

Evette is in her twentieth year at AJW and has acquired extensive knowledge of all aspects of the business. Initially she worked in Sales, later transferring to the commercial department where she restructured and created AJW's successful commercial function.


In her current leadership role, Evette is the focal point for all commercial activities. She develops tailor-made customer solutions from a wide range of services (including cost per flight hour programmes) while her team manages the entire tender process from the request for proposal (RFP) to contract implementation. Evette ensures a dedicated commercial manager is assigned throughout this process, and for ongoing contract management.

As AJW Aviation's first graduate trainee Josh spent several years learning the key aspects of operational development within the organisation. This led into strategic project management at all levels implementing change solutions across the AJW Group. Josh has been in the AJW Technique team since day one and was quickly moved into the development of global corporate initiatives in relation to product scope as well as target market. With ground up core knowledge of the business from acquisition to full scale technical production Josh has been able to leverage a deep seeded understanding of aircraft component maintenance to augment the sales effort. Now Director of Sales for the organization he is accountable for all incoming revenue streams and as such influences both near and future objectives from a strategic standpoint. Analysis of competitive intel, formation of commercial proposals, evolving service delivery, maintaining steady account growth and forging new sales channels all fall under his remit.

After graduating from Reading with a degree in Business and Economics, Boris joined AJW as a team member of the Sales Department. He progressed quickly into the role of Divisional Sales Manager and further to the position of Commercial Director. He was appointed Chief Executive of AJW Aviation in 2009. His role as Chief Executive saw the impressive annual double-digit growth of the business and ensured continued flexibility and outstanding service for AJW customers. As Chief Strategy Officer of AJW Group, Boris will now be responsible for helping to define the Group’s Strategy and execute delivery of that Strategy. In 2012 Boris won the UK Institute of Directors Young Director of the Year Award.

Gavin brings to the AJW Group a hybrid of both aviation and production experience stretching back over twenty years. From his initial apprenticeship, through to more recent multinational aircraft operator and production experience, his focus has always been on keeping things simple and belief in people complemented by lean working practices. With a proven track record, Gavin is responsible for all aspects of strategic inventory management including planning, vendor spend, MRO vendor services, freight, warehouse, distribution and information technology services. These philosophies manifest themselves across the AJW Group’s organisational structure, operational philosophies and culture. Gavin is also General Manager of AJW Technique, the Montreal-based state-of-the-art maintenance, repair and overhaul facility.

Caroline Cauvin is Director of Procurement at AJW Aviation. She is responsible for the development of all purchasing activities across the business and ensures the Group-wide purchasing strategy to realise efficiency benefits and financial savings across multiple areas is delivered.


Caroline manages planning and purchasing across: aircraft components, subcomponents, repairs, consumables and third party supplier services.  Her expertise in managing diverse vendor relationships and significant cross-functional procedures and programmes complements AJW’s lean approach and globally renowned contracted services to airlines of all sizes.


She joined AJW from Virgin Atlantic Airways where she was VP of Procurement. Prior to joining Virgin, Caroline worked as Purchasing Manager for Kimberley Clark Europe and Sourcing Manager for Nike across Europe and Asia.

With over 25 years' experience in aviation, Conrad has worked previously for Flightspares and the BBA Group before joining AJW as Commercial & Contracts Manager in 2004. With a change in role to MRO Director in 2007, he became responsible for the total repair management service at AJW, supporting both AJW and direct customer inventories, developing them significantly under his tenure. Following this, Conrad took up position as Sales Development Director whose responsibilities included the management and sale of all major assets held by AJW, with the additional focus of continual development and growth of all aspects of AJW capabilities. In his current role as SVP Strategic Material & Asset Management he manages and develops all existing and future consigment opportunities, to increase the current stock and sales portfolio for our global programmes.

Ian joined AJW from Flybe where he was Director of Engineering & Maintenance responsible for the management of a large team covering engineering, maintenance control, supply chain, and line maintenance. Prior to that he ran a consulting firm working with multiple clients within the aviation industry. Further operational and technical experience came through roles with Wizz Air, Thomsonfly, Britannia Airways, British Airways World Cargo and British Airways Engineering. Ian also has an MBA from Henley Management College and an Aeronautical Engineering BEng degree.


Ian began life at AJW as Key Account Director and was responsible for the development and evolution of business partnerships with key customers, particularly in new markets or service areas. Now, as Vice President Commercial, he is responsible for managing AJW’s dynamic Commercial function, as it strives to further develop the company’s successful contracted business. Ian acts as the focal point for commercial projects, developing new proposals and pricing strategies to better serve AJW’s growing customer base.

Evette is in her twentieth year at AJW and has acquired extensive knowledge of all aspects of the business. Initially she worked in Sales, later transferring to the commercial department where she restructured and created AJW's successful commercial function.


In her current leadership role, Evette is the focal point for all commercial activities. She develops tailor-made customer solutions from a wide range of services (including cost per flight hour programmes) while her team manages the entire tender process from the request for proposal (RFP) to contract implementation. Evette ensures a dedicated commercial manager is assigned throughout this process, and for ongoing contract management.

As AJW Aviation's first graduate trainee Josh spent several years learning the key aspects of operational development within the organisation. This led into strategic project management at all levels implementing change solutions across the AJW Group. Josh has been in the AJW Technique team since day one and was quickly moved into the development of global corporate initiatives in relation to product scope as well as target market. With ground up core knowledge of the business from acquisition to full scale technical production Josh has been able to leverage a deep seeded understanding of aircraft component maintenance to augment the sales effort. Now Director of Sales for the organization he is accountable for all incoming revenue streams and as such influences both near and future objectives from a strategic standpoint. Analysis of competitive intel, formation of commercial proposals, evolving service delivery, maintaining steady account growth and forging new sales channels all fall under his remit.
