AJW extends Engine Shop Visit Management agreement with NordStar

AJW Group, world leaders in the global management of aircraft spares, has extended their contract with Russian airline NordStar to perform Engine Shop Visit Management for seven of their CFM56-7B engines.

AJW previously managed three of NordStar's shop visits between 2015 and 2016, delivering efficiencies that saved the airline in excess of $1m and this new agreement builds on the success of that partnership.


The work will be carried out by experienced engineers from AJW's engines team which specialise in providing innovative and flexible solutions that drive down operational costs for clients.

Engine Shop Visit Management


AJW provides the most competitively priced service to its customers based on total support solutions for shop visits. As part of this service, AJW makes improvements on savings via used serviceable material from the AJW inventory.


Through its extensive approved vendor network, AJW can monitor and negotiate warranties and penalties, and has control over piece part repair.


In addition, AJW has a dedicated, onsite engineer available during overhaul, and provides invoice reviews to ensure all charges are accurate and correct, as well as the stringent review of all documentation to meet EASA/FAA quality requirements.
