AJW Group is pleased to announce that AJW Technique has achieved South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO) Approval for the performance of maintenance of civilian aeronautical components under the regulatory control of SACAA.
AJW Technique’s SACAA AMO Approval number is 1695, and covers the SACAA category ratings B and X, encompassing airframe, engine, avionics, and electrical components.
SACAA is the latest authority to add to the growing number of regionally specific approvals already achieved by AJW Technique, the AJW Group’s Montreal-based MRO.
The SACAA AMO certification strengthens AJW Technique's ability to serve South African operators with enhanced capabilities and supply chain efficiencies, whilst consolidating vendor bases and streamlining operations.
This certification reinforces AJW Technique's global regulatory position. With approvals and acceptances from TCCA, FAA, EASA, UK CAA, CAAC, CAAN, CAAS, ANAC, HKCAD, JCAB, and SACAA, the company is now equipped to deliver services that meet the stringent airworthiness standards required across international airline operations.

Louis-Philippe Mallette, President, AJW Technique, said: “This certification from SACAA is a fantastic achievement for AJW Technique, of which the whole team should be immensely proud. It recognises and rewards the world-class component repair and overhaul support for which our skilled technicians have become justly renowned.
It enhances our trade capabilities within the South African market and will thus enable us to further increase the reach of our bespoke services and capabilities in the country.”
